New Chrysler 200 Makes Canadian Debut
Posted on February 14, 2014
Sure, the all-new, redesigned 2015 edition of the Chrysler 200 was the highlight of the manufacturer's Super Bowl ad campaign with an all-American theme, but we're still pretty excited to see the new sedan make its Canadian debut.
One of the most-talked-about debuts at several American auto shows, the new 200 is now being shown off this month at the 2014 Canadian International AutoShow (CIAS). The importance of this vehicle was marked by the entire show's keynote speech by Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne.
So what's all the fuss about when it comes to the new 200? Well for starters, it's coming with a standard nine-speed automatic transmission and an available all-wheel drive system that automatically disconnects from the rear wheels when it's not needed, saving you a lot of gas in the process.
The option between the standard 2.4-litre MultiAir Tigershark four-cylinder engine or the available 3.6-litre Pentastar V6 that has 295 horsepower gives you the choice between ultimate performance or more efficient fuel economy. If you ask us, we're going after the V6 because we simply can't wait to see how this new 200 performs at its peak level.
There's going to be plenty of news coming out of the CIAS and we here at our Mississauga, ON dealership will be sure to fill you in with what we hear. Be sure to come by Team Chrysler Jeep Dodge to find out the latest news about the new 200 and all our other new and used models. Be sure to ask somebody about loans and leases.
