FIAT Chrysler to Retire Dodge Grand Caravan
Posted on June 30, 2014
Thirty years after pioneering the minivan industry, FIAT Chrysler has announced it will cease production of its Dodge Grand Caravan in 2016. With National Camping Month in full swing, there isn't a better time look into what is to be some of the last Caravans on the market.
For the 2014 model year, the single drivetrain arrangement brings with it the Caravan's predictably reliable performance, and its 3.6-liter V6 carries the power that busy parents rely on. With its signature Stow 'n Go seats that quickly and easily fold into the floor, this vehicle is at the top of its class for convenient cargo storage. The term "minivan" may connote "outdated Mom jeans," but the current Caravan boasts a state-of-the-art infotainment system in its higher-end trims, offering touchscreen display; review camera; second-row display with HDMI input; and more, more, more.
Might we say this is one of the best touch-in-cheek reviews of the Caravan we've ever seen?:
